  Didn't expect much from this wine and never got around to drinking it. I did like it a lot however, as it has as aged exceptionally well. Very elegant medium bodied red with spicy, cedar nose, mushrooms and black fruit notes. Still shows good fruit on the palate - plums. Well integrated acids and, as expected, smooth tannins but which still retain a surprising grip. Long, fairly dry finish

  med/+ intensity, youthful
  Vibrant Juicy Tone, High Tone Raspberry
  Med+ Acid, medBody, med+ Intenisity, med+ FInish
  Raspberry mixed with Chocolate, some of those Southern Rhone meaty spices
  
  Conc: Overall I enjyoed very fruit forward in a sense, but does remindd me of CdRs lots of sunshine in a class but balanced for sure

  A typical and well made Cape Blend for a reasonable price. Already very smooth and silky. A bit fruit, a bit earth, a bit animal ...... Not overpowered although not less extract and alc. Not too complicated wine. Ready for a little weekday indulgence.
