Surprisingly, this is still drinkable, although noting like it was two years ago.A tribute, I guess, to Jared and Tracey making serious wine as opposed to just bleeding off juice. But it was hardly a good summer wine. It had no delicacy and there was a mild flare of alcohol on the finish. Basically, it tasted like jug wine. Still one of my favorite roses. I met Isabel the day I bought this and she was darling.

I drank this after it had been open for a day. Really dipped in quality from my previous tastest. Tasted very artificial and lacked fruit. Bright and clean.

Very good. Nose of wheat toast with butter, strawberry and some watermelon. Good heft to this wine. It had nice complexity and balance with a good finish. Nice rose.

(A Donkey and Goat Isabel's Cuvee Grenache Rose) #1; COLOR-darker rose; NOSE-like an artificial butter spray aspect; lilac component; a subtle rhubarb; PALATE-this is phenominal; one of the better Rose's I've had in the last 3 years; this wine has enormous complexities and great balance of acid on the back-end; like pure berry juice; a little cherry play as well; great weight and viscosity; this is spectacular; GV-91+

What the F happened? Complete nail polish remover. Oxidized with a screw cap? Or was it volatile acidity?

Nothing terribly new with this. A few notches below our last bottle. Still a lot of buttered toast but a little bitter.
