Damn, when Dujac hits it out it goes far. Simply incredible stuff for village level Burg. Right off the bat it had that Dujac-y weight and sap and iodine/bloody thing going on that often times you have to wait for the wine to open up into. Bam, right there on a pop and pour. Deep and intense with a great mix of Chambolle elegance and Dujac style. Aromatics are intense and they resonate perfectly all the way into the long and perfumy finish. Dead on delicious and in an incredibly sweet drinking window right now. Supremely yummy.
Very upfront and lush. Bits of stone, sappy fruit and a warm mouth feel. Lacking a middle like 2000s have been, but nice finish with persistent herbal notes and slight tingle. Really nice and good drinking.
