  The main difference between 09 and 07 is that 07 is a bit warmer and 09 is very very classic (I am being told). '09 will be a vintage that matches 99, 85, 79 and 64. With some of the aged funk of Sangiovese on it. But in a very tasty way. The palate is dynamite. Lively, juicy, rich. Very delicious indeed. Not in that dark brunello like way.

  Very nice, and improved nicely in the glass. Not conentrated or showing strong fruit, but with pleasant herbal and rustic notes and a decent finish.
