Nervous as hell. Aromas of raspberry eau de vie and something a bit bloody and a touch faecal...ever tried andouillette? Palate adds mushroom consomme / ramen packet and sweet decay. Paired with a Luger rib steak (rare) and a slice of fresh sourdough dragged through the drippings. This is at or near peak...holding one more bottle for a complete vertical, but would otherwise drink up.

Dinner with the Murthy's (Fremont, CA): 2nd bottle is pop and pour, the first was decanted for an hour or two. Fresher black fruit, less subtlety now. 90

Dinner with the Murthy's (Fremont, CA): Aromatic, red fruit, warm but not hot, good spice; palate is light bodied, balanced fruit, medium plus acid, fades a bit toward the finish; medium finish. Ripe Pinot but well balanced, at maturity. 90-91

Simply put, this wine is rocking right now. From a very hot vintage in the Anderson Valley, this has hit its' stride. Atypically ripe and forward for a Littorai. A bright cherry core envelped by wild berry, mineral, and spicy oak flavors. Everything is in the right place. Delicious.

Still drinking we’ll, if a bit more one dimensional than Ted’s other wines. But, at the end of the day, delicious.
