Work Wine Tasting - Riesling, Pinot & Syrah (Home): Bright, sweet red berry fruit on the nose. Red fruit, medium weight and texture, a bit more depth and persistence than the Torri Mor. Very decent indeed and all the better for a couple of years slumber. ***1/2

Brick red hue with a strong nose of strawberries. Palate was full of more strawberries with a pleasant medium bodied finish. Overall, I found this to be ok with no faults or unplesantness, just a bit 'ho hum'. Ive had better NZ and in fact Martinborough Pinots within a similar price range. On day 2 this improved quite a bit. Became more meaty and chewy. Ive had this wine before and enjoyed it more, so perhaps it was either bottle variation or perhaps it just needs to be drunk young(er) as I did in the past.

Hanging in there, but this wine was made for early drinking and really needs to be consumed now (or earlier!).
Nice savoury, with smokey finish, pretty sophisticated cafe wine.

The boss loved it. Strawberries a plenty with a lovely velvety, smooth, elegant finish. Great value.

Ripe, intense but well balanced.
