Very dark, good legs. On the nose a kind of blackcurrant (it's cabernet) but also hints of rustic dry soil (typically italian). Smooth wine with a long after taste - very good- but not as good as the Riserva Petri we drank the same evening.

Dark deep red. The smell contains dried fruit, more raisin than blackcurrant (this is 100 % Cab Sauv.). Starts very smoothly, the middle part characterized by rounded tannins, while the aftertaste rather long. I miss, however, the complexity. A good wine, but not outstanding. Will probably not improve - on the top now.

Deep red, pretty high viscosity. On the nose: Earthy, warm, some spices, nice. Soft and smooth to drink. The middle part contains moderate tannins, the after taste is medium/long, spicy and sweet. Overall, a nice wine, correctly made, but lacks the depth and complexity that characterises great wines.

Tasted as part of The Capital Grille's "Master Wine Tasting Event." Their tasting note was "Flavors of vanilla and black currant, soft tannins, and long, powerful finish." We thought this was an interesting and very drinkable Cabernet. Waiter described it as a "15-year-old from 2003." That description was right on. Need to get a hold of some more of this.
