Initial bouquet of beef blood and camphor blew off after a half hour to reveal pleasant notes of tart red fruit, tomatoes, grilled herbs, creosote. Similar on the palate, juicy acidity with resolved tannins, medium body, medium finish. Syrah, carignane, mourvedre.
