  • Brick red colour and closed nose on decanting. After 1 hour the nose revealed molasses with flint and a hint of earth/straw and some muted stewed fruit. The palate was concentrated with fruit, red currant, and followed the nose well. It had a low-medium acidity and subtle mineral balance. The finish was medium and very smooth. A delicious Burgundy at 20 years old. Drinks beautifully now if cellared well.
