| | Tasted by garambler on 8/23/2010 & rated 87 points: I drank this after dinner on 8/23/10. It had a decent bouquet of sour cherry, plum, raspberry, herb and spice aromas. The palate was smooth, balanced, dry and tart with flavors that followed the nose. My only real criticism was its lack of complexity. (128 views) |

| | Tasted by Anonymous on 5/16/2010 & rated 87 points: Light on its feet considering the alcohol. Lively mouthfeel and nice balance to the sweet fruit. Well made. (581 views) |
| | Tasted by OneLastSyrah on 4/17/2010: 14.5% ABV. Opened this for a group of non-wine drinkers and it was well received. Dark garnet in the glass. Plummy black fruit. Medium full bodied, round and fairly supple fruit. I think this wine is approaching middle age pretty quickly. I will likely drink mine up by early 2011. (728 views) |

| | Tasted by OneLastSyrah on 2/9/2010 & rated 88 points: 14.5% ABV. This wine has a great QPR at $8. Dark garnet in the glass. Plum and black cherry fruit. Medium full bodied and supple. Not especially complex, but nicely made and very quaffable. I would plan on drinking these over the next year or so. (1259 views) |
| | Tasted by Diablito on 1/29/2010 & rated 89 points: This is quite a QPR at $11 bucks... It's got a similar nose/palate profile to the Domaine La Garrigue but leaner and a little more alcohol. Still, the yeasty bread notes make it interesting and keep it old world in style. This wine isn't sweet at all. It is savory. Very enjoyable at this price point. (1269 views) |
| | Tasted by OneLastSyrah on 12/30/2009: 14.5% ABV. Tasted over a couple days. This is really outstanding QPR at the $8 entry price at Costco. This particular bottle was consistent with the others I've opened but with a note of tar on the nose that I don't recall from the others. Medium-full bodied with plummy black fruit and some pepper/garrigue. Plump texture and decent balance. (1446 views) |
| | Tasted by jraider on 12/22/2009: Terrific QPR given $8 purchase price. Was eagerly slurped down at my son's birthday party. (1541 views) |

medium+ ruby in the glass. Earthy fruit, hints of cherry syrup, a touch over ripe but low+ intensity fruit. Earth on back end. syrupy, almost candy like - kirsch. P: hint of pepper. Definitely rhone. Good, balanced, interesting. Ripe and focused on the palate. Slight grenache hint on balance. Med body, med/med+ alc. Hint of pepper reduction on the palate. but some nice roasted flavors. low+ tannins. Not my cup o tea but a nice entry level CdR. 80. (1976 views) |
| | Tasted by OneLastSyrah on 10/19/2009: 14.5% ABV. $8. Familiarity breeds contempt? Maybe. Medium-full bodied with plummy black fruit. Good QPR, but this bottle, about the fourth or fifth I've opened, seemed a bit vinous and boring. (1842 views) |
| | Tasted by Edv on 8/14/2009 & rated 88 points: Beau fruit, belle longueur, de l'épice, bel équilibre, une acidité digeste, sans lourdeur. Très bon! (2084 views) |
| | Tasted by OneLastSyrah on 8/3/2009 & rated 88 points: Consistent with previous notes - Medium-full bodied with plummy black fruit. A little bit of garrigue on the nose. Noticed a little grapiness this time. Great QPR. (2100 views) |
| | Tasted by walkers on 7/31/2009 & rated 88 points: Lots of dried fruit, port-like characteristics, with some balancing acidity. Extremely drinkable... maybe too much so! Good value, would buy again. Very soft tannin, and some acidity, but not a ton. Not a ton of structure here, but enjoyable. (2174 views) |

| | Tasted by Nutty08 on 7/28/2009 & rated 89 points: Wow, great surprise. Very dark crimson color. Nose initially with a little brett, but this blew off to show raspberry and nice layer of spices. Palate with a nice crisp acidity, but remained round and ripe, with mostly integrated tannin. Plenty of red fruits and iron. Finish was a little thin, but nice balance of iron, spices, and dark fruit. Fantastic QPR for $8 at costco, don't think this will improve with age. (2238 views) |
| | Tasted by futronic on 7/28/2009 & rated 89 points: Dark, almost opaque ruby/black colour. Pretty nose of herbes de Provence, black fruit - plums and blackcurrant, vanilla, black licorice, raspberry. Full-bodied, rich, with notes of raspberry, grilled meat, peach, spice, and vanilla on the palate. Good persistence on the 30-35s finish. Puts on weight and shows more lush fruit on the palate with a bit of air. Really impressive for the price point ($15CAD). Something that would be an interesting ringer in a flight of Chateauneuf-du-Pape, as the quality is high. Other bottles have been even better than this. 60% Grenache, 20% Mourvedre, the rest Carignan and Cinsault. (2266 views) |
