A classic David Mounts big style wine. Recent release. Beautiful dark color. Nice fruit in the mouth. Small amount of tannins from good use of french oak for structure. great for food. Nice balance, finish. A tiny amount of heat that will mellow. This drinks really well right now, pair with autumn dishes. Or cellar a few extra to enjoy over months or years. It's an excellent wine that will only get better. 125 cases made.

no opportunity to decant, but it was alright. I really think this wine needs a lot of time. I'll give it some years, but for now, it is ok.

Not the typical green veg. herbeceous nose that one expects from a cab. franc. Nice balance, blk fruits with medium finish and linger.
