Discovered this long forgotten purchase in my cellar and thought for sure it would be past its prime. But it held up well and was still very good. Light, crisp, acidic. Good summer wine. I will definitely try future vintages of this (and not wait too long to drink it!).

The acidity has mellowed nicely since the last time I tasted this over a year ago. I also recall the same touch of frizzante as Rossodio when tasted over a year ago but this has completely dissipated with time. Still plenty of grapefruit and melon notes to keep this interesting. Impressive for a 3.5 year old SB coming in at under $20/bottle.

I was somewhat surprised with how well this was still drinking. Consistent with previous notes. Nice crisp acidity (not overwhelming) on the nose, palate and finish, with notes of lemongrass and other citrus fruit.
Many California SBs that I have tried are simply flat. While, many would consider the NZ SBs that I enjoy to be over the top with citrus zing and acidity. This is a nice middle ground, and is a very pleasant wine for sipping for with food.

No citrus left. Likely past it's time. However still quite nice
