  • Light yellow color with aromas of citrus. Penetrating acidity in the mouth with a softly caressing texture. Goes out with a long and delicious finish. Like a lemon squeezed over a chicken dish, this wine adds a delicious acidity to foods, such as a lettuce roll. Overall, good concentration, zingingly delicious, and delightful both by itself and with food. Excellent example of how good a wine the Falanghina grape makes in Italy and how well it keeps for at least 8 years.

  • Light straw yellow, clear.
A bit of a weird note as poured in the glass, but it dissipates quickly. It then develops a fine nose, somewhat reminding me of Riesling with is fine mix of mineral notes and fruit.
The palate starts viscous and enveloping, but with reasonable freshness. Saline and with a peach note. Then already in the mid-palate and especially on the finish the alcohol dominates with an accompanying bitter note. it feels a bit disjointed.

  • Good acidity and minerality. Mild, with some Tuscan melon. Very good (85.5).

  • Pale straw yellow color. The nose is somewhat reticent at first, mostly on floral and mineral notes. After two days it fully opens up showing very sweet white pit fruit notes. The palate starts intense and almost sweet, turns then to mineral ending up with salinity (almost). It has a certain viscosity and good acidity. Surprisingly enjoyable at age four, and I think it could still last for a while. (87-88)

  • Straw yellow, very clear. The nose is a bit weird on the first day, but after time in the glass also show some very sweet fruit. It lost the weird note (and the fruit sweetness too) on the second day and was mostly showing wet rocks and a hint of citrus. The palate has a certain thickness and creaminess but balanced by the acidity. Not particularly flavourful, went well with food. It is probably over the hill.
