Color: Medium dark yellow Nose: Aromatic, light tropical base with lemon on top Mouthfeel and flavor: Medium with viscous, warming, flavor same as nose with light, tropical fruit base with medium lemon on top. Acidity balances body so that the wine is not flabby but is not a sharp acidity. Slight butterscotch in base also.

Nice, easygoing wine. Tropical fruits, a touch of sweetness, and decent acidity. A strange bitter note on the finish makes me think this is getting up in years. (Clear bottle probly doesn't help.) Still, a good buy at the sale price of $9. 85-87

Light gold. Loads of green apple on the nose which is pleasing to the nose and the palate. Medium bodied weigh with zingy acidity and verve. Medium length and the finish was a touch off balanced with bitter tones.

From the 5 course tasting menu at Valentino, Las Vegas. This wine was paired with a trio of seafood samples including a lobster puree wrapped in swordfish, a Mediterranean sea bass and a porcini crusted amber jack fish, which it seems is a fancy name for a simple bluefish. This wine had a nose that slightly resembled Riesling but not as much sweetness and a slight butane note. Crisp and lots of minerality on the palate. Paired best with the bluefish, which was actually my least favorite of the seafood trio samples but the wine made it work quite well.

Nose was a little funky, but it blew off after a bit. A bit of a tarty SB kind of taste. Not unpleasant, but also not something I would seek out.
