    I'm a bit ambivalent on aged German Rieslings, but this just blew my mind. Still incredibly young in color, yellow straw with hints of green, long tears although alcohol is not more than 13%. Refined nose of apples, lemons, and peach, supported by an underlying tone of minerals and chalk (not much petroleum). Full bodied attack, but still not heavy in any way. The first part on the palate is fruity (apples and citrus). the mid part is drier and more mineral (chalk and stone dust), the aftertaste is lifted by a very fine and non-aggressive acidity. Light citrus and chalky tones sits for a minute and more. Tasted blind I would have sweared that this was a rather young wine (2015 or 14). Impressive. Keep for many years if you will.

    Hey!, this is just fantastic. The color shows the wine's age, deep golden, always giving me fear of overripeness and oxidation. No signs of that her. The nose is dominated by peach, red apples. some orange and lime, with only a discreet hint of slate, petroleum and chalk. Full bodied attack with a clear sweet tone. Then the acidity kicks in, creating a full bodied mouthfeel where he aromas of citrus and lime mix with the tones of peach and apples. Long and very fresh aftertaste where the salty tones emerge in the finish. This is clearly the best Leitz wine I've ever had. Perfect now, but will keep for many years.

    Flott vin med nydelig modning.
    Silkemyk munnfølse med perfekt fylde.
    Elegant, ren og leken frukt med fin modning.
    Holder en stødig kurve hele veien.
    Dette er balanse på høyt nivå.
    Drikker veldig bra nå - supersmoothie.
    Meget lang finish som prikker i munnhulen.
    Rett og slett en strålende vin.

    Ribbe i Erfjord. Pettroleum og blomster lukt, ikke så impnerende som forventet. 1 dag i flaske, restesmaking med K mens vi ser på Bacalo-kokkene. Sitron, aromatisk, blomster, eple, betroleumen er borte. Perfekt aromatisk riesling :-D
