01/23/10: no dogs with ribeyes at the lakehouse: 13.6% ABV. 84% Sauv Blanc, the balance Viognier, Roussanne, and Semillon. Medium straw in the glass. High pitched mineral resin and somewhat vague white fruit nose. Medium bodied with a somewhat creamy texture - i'm guessing this saw some oak. A little bit short, but pretty good.

One of my favorite Dry Creek SB's. Blended with viognier, marsanne, and rousanne, 3 of my fave rhone varietals, makes this something a bit different. Nice. Floral nose, hint of citrus. Lots of pleasant citrus, some minerality, in the mouth. Pleasing mid palette and a great finish that leaves the mouth watering, in a postive way. Great by itself or with food.

Opened yesterday. Pale golden color. Steely nose with a touch of cereal funk. Medium bodied sweetish attack of sweet tangy vaguely tropical lemon fruit. Bit short/lacking complexity, but pleasant.
