Cellared since release; served at Burgundy Corton tasting (as the ringer) March 14, 2024. Opened 30 minutes prior to tasting. Slightly faded burgundy color core with brown at the rim. Highly developed and complex bouquet of red fruit, earth, and wet leaves. Mature, rich, layered red fruit, soft tannins, and good balance. Great intesity without weight. Very complex. This 16 year-old Ribbon Ridge Willamette Pinot finshed 3rd out of 6 six wines and NOT identified as the ringer by four experienced (>30 year) burgundy tasters. Enjoyable. Drink up.

Oregon wine making at its finest. I expected a lean wine in its tertiary phase of life. What I found was a rich sumptuous big red fruited Pinot with tons of life left.

Perfect cork and well cellared, enjoyed at Bouchon on our Anniversary. Probably past peak so enjoy them if you got ‘em . Fruit subsided but not really showing the next evolution of flavors. Hmm…. Solid but likely better a few years ago?

cola, strawberry, and bell pepper. Might be going through a dumb phase. I expected some tertiary development but not much was there. Nosed well but a bit disappointing once it hit the palate. Was much better on day 2 so maybe there's some hope left. Will revisit in a year or maybe 3.

Coming down the other side of the hill. Provenance has been proper, but time took its toll. Still drinking, but fading. Drink up!
