Lime and grapefruit come through with a bit of chalk dust that I've found in the Puits Sec pinot as well. Medium body with sour apple and pear with lemony acidity. Finishes with citrus. Great on a hot day with a moderate chill.

Light straw color. Aromas of lime and grapefruit with hints of honeysuckle and wet slate. Medium body with pear and lemon curd flavors. Nice fresh finish. Good bottle and fantastic for the price.

2009 Memorial Day Tasting; 5/24/2009-5/25/2009 (Willamette Valley, Oregon): Their notes: Certified organically grown. 105 cases produced. "We were somewhat suprised by the depth and richness we attained in the cool 2007 vintage, something we attribute to a small crop which allowed optimal ripeness. This bottling is an even blend of Dijon clones 76 & 96 (with a small amount of clone 95). It is barrel fermented in French oak (20% new) with frquent lees-stirring, aged for 18 months, and bottled without filtration. As our vines have matured, this bottling has become increasingly consistent in its 'terroir' flavors of subtle vanilla, minerals and grilled nuts. As is typical of our style, this wine has a creamy texture, yet a crisp acidity in an elegant medium-bodied frame." My notes - 'neutral' barreling - not too oaky. Nice texture.

Memorial Day Weekend Wine Tour (Eola-Amity Hills): Interesting nose with very light fruit and smoky scents evident. The oak is strong but well integrated on the palate. Creamy white grape flavors are quite enjoyable.
