I was a little apprehensive about this wine as suspected it may be over the hill. It’s quite a pleasant surprise. Lovely colour with only slight bricking at the edges and despite noticeable acidity it’s eventually quite smooth after a bit of airing. There is plenty of sour fruit there with cherry and raspberry but also that element of decay with hints of earth and balsamic! Drunk on its own but would be even better with food I imagine.

A very nice Chianti Classico, with flowery and sour cherry aromas, very elegant and perfumey. The palate had strong tannins, excellent cherry and other red fruit, clearly young, could use some more years in the cellar, but very very good now as well.

Full bodied Chianti, needs a little time to open up (20-30 minutes). Agree with other reviewers it should still improve 2-3 years. Although being very complete and ready now.

Drank after 1 pass in the vinturi. Very nice chianti, ready to drink. Nice fruit with a little bit of wood, soft tannins and nice acidity. Excellent wine, will likely improve in the next 2-3 years in my opinion.

Végétal fruité et fumé de fruit bleu confit, un lit de raisin torrifié, j'adore ce vin, j'en racheterai d'autre c'est certain
