  • Beguiling nose of pear and almond cream. The palate is juicy and round, with a zingy acidity as well. Flavors on the palate lean towards candied tangerine and white cherry. The finish shows nice complexity but cuts off abruptly. Stil, this is a very attractive Nahe Riesling in early maturity. Very rewarding to open one now, but I expect this will continue to develop nicely for some time yet.

  • Wow...all honey, beeswax, honey, ripe pear, lemon drop, flowers, spice...this is so fantastic...kaleidoscopic complexity.
    Incredibly long finish!!! Pure hedonism

  • Definitely past its prime. Very sweet with none of the mineral notes that I’ve enjoyed in earlier bottles.

  • Straw. The colour predicts a young, rather unevolved wine. Fruity nose dominated by peach, honeysuckle, pear and minerals. Nevertheless it is more a chord than layered and it feels a bit onedimensional. But it is a hedonistic pleasure to drink this, because of its sheer fruity intensity. On the palate it has enough refreshing acidity to balance the sweetness. I still have doubts that this is going to be better with more bottle age, but it has ten or more years ahead of it. 95 points from the WA, which is a bit high in my opinion. 5/12/18/8

  • Same aromas as in March this year (23.03.), but this is more intense and a bit more complex from the start. I'm still unconvinced that this benefits from further cellaring, so my advice is to drink it up over the next few years if optimal stored. But without a doubt it is a hedonistic pleasure to drink this because of its sheer fruit intensity. 5/13/18/7
