PopnPour, tasted over 2 hrs -med dark red with purple tinge and minimal clearing at edge -low key ripe dark cherry plum red apple peel -med acidity, med/med- weight fading simple dark cherry bitter iron, med+ tannins -I like the transparency as this speaks of Pommard, might benefit from another couple of years to allow the tannins to further integrate

Slow-ox 1 hour, tasted over 2 hours and next day -quite dark red/purple for vintage -tight, very restrained, yields a little black cherry -ok acidity, med- weight, med conc, coarse tannins soften by Day 2, lean black cherry liqueur predominates, initially it is battling a marked lean bitter component that fades significantly by Day 2, almost no overt earthiness -much better on Day 2 after substantial air, might improve with 2-3 years but don't think this is a long term ager as the bitterness may totally supplant the fruit that is currently salvaging any charm it has, DRAW

Great nose. Finish a bit short, but enjoyable.

Huge wonderful nose. The nose was better than the taste, but this drunk very nicely. Was big for a Pommard and packed full of flavors.
