  • I opened this bottle expecting it to be over the hill and undrinkable. To my surprise it was very good. It was beautifully balanced with floral and citrus notes.

  • This is a big, concentrated Viognier. The palate consists of complex fruit with significant oak overlay. The fruit is citrus at first with a hint of banana on the back end. We drank this wine without food beofre dinner and it was great in that role. It would also have been good with the right appetizers. It will require a bit of planning if it is to be paired with food for the main course.
