At home with some steaks, oldest vintage of Realm in my cellar. Cork crumbled, no effect on the wine. Strained, modest sediment, splash decanted drank over an hour.
Medium purple color, some separation. Nose showing dark fruits, plum, cocoa. Elegant palate showing aged blackberry, plum, oak, spice and earth notes. Silky texture, tannins resolved. Medium weight and finish.
In a great spot right now, don't think it improves much from here. Fruit is nicely aged and still expressive. Would drink up over the next few years

Better than the last flawed bottle. Menthol, spice, cherry and blueberries. Medium finish and tasty overall. This is a solid 90 point score. Hard to tell how long these will last as the storage on these was terrible. 90 points

This bottle had heat damage when rocknroller and I opened it. Muted fruit and poor acidity. It was not until I sampled it later that night that it was really off. Return.

Deep aged maroon color with a 3 mm clear meniscus. PNP from 375ml, followed a glass over an hour. A crumbly cork to start did forewarn of what was to come. Clearly not right, this had a very baked fruit core, seemingly more than one would expect from just the vintage. Blackberry liqueur, strong wood presence on the palate, strict Asian spices, firmish tannins. I suspect this was a closeout and suffered from heat damage along the way. It did seem to brighten up a bit in glass. Score reserved, fair.

Incredible showing. Fine tannins, acid lift, rich and full yet not overblown... elegant
