Not very good with floral, minerals and spice. Short finish.
Lemon and other citrus fruits on the nose. Tart fruits and more lemon on the palate. Could benefit from some more acidity.Overall, I did not find this to be a typical viognier, as it was missing the pear and apple flavors I usually associate with the varietal. The wine was a bit thin.I enjoyed drinking it, but not as much as I expected to. I wouldn't recommend pairing this with Asian food; doesn't seem to have the backbone to stand up to it.
Great balance of fruit and spice. Spice was not overpowering as in some Viogniers and the fruit was not overly tropical, leaning more to the melon and pear side. Love it.
Pale yellow color. Smoky nose of tropical fruit and peach. Tastes of melon, pear, and pear. Limestone minerality. Good balance. Full bodied. Rich finish.
