Medium ruby with Garnet edges. Medium intensity, developed aromas of blackberry, black, currant, forest floor, tobacco, mushroom, leather, nutmeg, wet, cedar this wine, head, medium body and tannins with high alcohol and acidity. It has medium plus intensity flavors that match the pallet with a long finish. The tertiary aromas and flavor predominate at this point for this wine with the fruit taking a backseat.

Boysenberry, cherry, raspberry sherbet, tea and some coffee on the palate. While I usually think about this as a brooding sort of wine, this bottle was different, evidencing depth but a sweetness on the finish. By comparison, this was bigger fruit but less depth and complexity than the 2010 David Arthur Elevation 1147 that we consumed at the same dinner. Still some structure to this bottle but don't think this will improve much more.

Dark garnet colored, full bodied, big, round, bold dark fruit - blackberry, black currant with some plum and a hint of black cherry with notes of creosote tar, dark mocha chocolate, tobacco and black tea with full but approachable tannins on the long finish. https://unwindwine.blogspot.com/2022/04/constant-napa-cab-at-louis-newport.html

Medium brick color with medium intensity developed aromas of tar, tobacco, nutmeg, blackberry, and black currant. This is a dry wine with medium tannins with high alcohol and medium body. The pallet matches the aroma‘s exactly with dark fruits, tar, and tobacco with a medium finish. This reminds me of a good monastrell with the tar and tobacco dominating. This is a good wine that should be drunk now and unlikely to get better with age. I think this is at its peak so drink up.

Deep indigo color. Full bodied with blackberry, boysenberry, dark cherry, tea and toasty oak. Medium tannins. More depth and balance than the 2014 Robert Craig Diamond Mountain drunk side by side.
