4th Saturday Brown Bagger (The Anvil Club, East Dundee, IL): Darker color than the rest of the flight. Notes of toasted apple and butterscotch with a faint mineral spirits quality in the background. Buttery fruit with a deep finish with just a hint of bitterness. Improves a bit with air, as well as with food.

Opened by Allred. 2nd time I have had this wine this year and I liked this bottle better. Clean and fresh. Pale straw color. Notes of apples and sesame seed oil. 90-91 points.

Wow, this is drinking well above its price point. Opens with a smoky/flinty quality which leads into popcorn, apple and honeysuckle notes. Wonderful fruit on the palate with a lingering finish. Has a Meursault-like almond quality in the finish. Terrific.

Opened by Allred at Anvil for Shari's birthday dinner. Open alongside the '13 Peter Michael Ma Belle Fil. This was much darker golden in color. Both showed signs of the lemon citrus, but this bottle had more of a toasty undertone. Still in a nice place.

Opened by Allred. I believe that this was the first vintage of this wine made by Paul. Clear straw yellow color. Notes of apple, canning spices, oak and creamy vanilla. Only the 2nd Chard from Stefania that I've had. The other being the 2009 which I liked slightly better. Not my style. 87 points.
