Nose: Citrus, pineapple, custard, white flowers Notes: Marc Colin is probably one of my top three white Burgundy makers. Their wines from the 00s are always so intense and flavorful that one won't forget easily. Problem with the Domaine is really that their wines are often premoxed and will result in major disappointments when that happens, nevertheless when you have a good bottle it will always top your expectation. The 2006 BM was so delicious and is drinking perfectly now. I think this wine should be consumed over the next 5-6 years. Drink: Now - 2026 Rating: 93

Casual Burg Dinner with Friends (RPM Italian - Chicago IL): Poached pear, hint of apricot and toasted brioche aromas with subtle flora hints. Unquestionably ripe but with enough structural elements that kept this very elegant. Not the most energetic, intense or powerful Batard, but very balanced and incredibly charming right now.
