  This is a wine that was great in it's time. We opened 19 year old bottle and would expect it to be a little flat. Great color, smooth finish with a mild hint of apple. I'm now thinking about 1994 when Mrs. Davies was still very active at Scharmsberg, producing some of the best in California. Now I find it very good with appetizers.
