Nose rich petroleum but not overpowering good balance with the fruit, a little thin on the palete but that may have been as it was drunk with Thai food with which it paired well. Loved this.

Showing some smoked minerals and I suspect this thing could quickly get a bit petroleum on you with further bottle age. It shows quite rich fruit but again very good purity and focus.

Wine-Ark Cellar Club Tasting 10 - November 2009. Josef Chromy, Giant Steps, Craggy Range (Roof Terrace Australian Museum): Nose: massive kerosene, lime and burnt toast
Mouth: lots of acid, some residual sugar (?) definite fruit and, oddly, a little oakiness.
Lovely, buy and lay down for three years AUD 30
