Took a few hours of decanting to open up. Color is dark, bloody red at this point, with hints of the purple I'm sure once dominated. Minty herbs and cassis with blueberry-pomegranate juice on the nose. On the palate, all black berries with sharp baking spices. Medium length. I think it may be a little past its prime, but it was quite a treat with a spicy, medium-bodied cigar.
