This is the spring of 2012 and I purchased this wine for a reception in the summer of 2010. It still was quite drinkable. It's a nice effervescent wine with some fruitiness. I have no problems with this wine for $7 a bottle. It's quite easy to drink next to the pool.

Pale straw with greenish tinge, lightly fizzy. Somewhat expressive nose of lime and tropical fruits. Light on palate, tart acidity with lime, tropical fruits and hints of stony fruits. Fairy simple wine with clean finish. First time tasted this Vinho Verde from Portugal though not impressive. I suspect it may have past its prime as it always meant to be drunk young. From a friend who bought it from the bin end sales.

Not as horrific as the last bottle, if you know what you're getting. Think moscato, not Boone's farm and you can choke it down.

Slight bubbliness. Much better than I expected, very refreshing on a hot (90)May day. Appreciated the 9% alcohol.
