Late night MingHin (Chicago, IL): That's the stuff, baby. First off is that classic American oak profile; a little vanilla and dill, and then you get a mix of that red and black fruit, as well as a slight pyrazine element. On the palate, this wine is all about balance; it's lighter for sure, but there's enough fruit to give weight the the acidity. The tannins are mostly resolved now; for me, this is one to drink sooner than later.

Thin by Ridge standards. Plum flavoured fruits.
