Excellent food wine. Acidic enough with notes of lime and lemon. But enough fruit to keep it balanced. Not much pepper in the 2007 unless it's a mild pink pepper bit still quite faint.

(Frédéric Lornet Arbois Nature) “Naturé” is the old Arbois name for the Savagnin grape; Lornet has made this Savagnin Ouillé for many years. The lemony color leads to a fresh, citrus nose with some minerality. On the full-bodied palate, the tangy acidity is followed by attractive, candied-lemon flavors. The dry, long finish has a hint of cracked black pepper. This wine is extremely versatile with food ranging from asparagus or other vegetarian dishes to soft cheeses, including goat cheese.
