It needs several hours to open up, and then, pure magic. Knee-weakening bouquet and profile, notably of blue and purple berries. Powerfully structured, long, clean finish.

Deep purple with blue hues. Drank over four delightful days, savoring every sip. Rock solid on the first day, but tight, and showing latent depth. Days two and three revealed an inflection changing mind-bender that featured tremendous richness, layers of blue and purple berries, berry liqueurs, chocolate (powder, sweetened, and dark), espresso, seared pork belly (bacon fat), herbs, and crushed black rocks. Mint infused sweet berry liqueurs and dark chocolate ganache showed prominently on the fourth day. Thought provoking range and precision, with medium plus to high acid, medium to medium plus tannins, and exceptional balance. This bottle had thrown considerable sediment but remained deep, opaque purple. 96-97.

Enjoyed this bottle over five days. Densely packed purple berries and liquefied rocks. Tremendous acid and massive tannins.
