  I enjoyed this full bodied Gigondas with red fruit on the nose and palate. There were additional notes of licorice and herbs on the mid palate and finnish. Drank over 2 nights without much loss of fruit. Sorry I don't have more.

  Superb. This how a Rhone should taste, and how it should age.
  Everyone at the table loved it.
  
  Decanted 30 minutes and then consumed over the next 1+ hours.
  
  Consumed with Thanksgiving smoked Capon and against a priced CA Pinot. Pinto, kinda new world though good, never got on the scoreboard :-)
  
  Dark crimson, with hints of brown. translucent edge. Strong legs. Some Sediment in the bottle.
  
  Dark fruit, garrigues, earth and flowers on the nose. Nose less bright than i imagine it was 15 years ago.
  
  Body was similar in flavor profile to the nose. Light in terms of viscosity, yet powerful in terms of flavor. Quite dry. Greta acid balance and plenty of earthiness. tannins present but fully mature (and apparently hanging out at the bottom of the bottle :-)
  
  Long, fresh, smooth as silk, complex and delicious. So much better than many Chateaunef's i'ev had lately at similar price points that are too viscous and fruit bomb-y. hat said, they were relatively young.
  
  Whil fully aged, it shows no signs of decline yet.
  
  I want more...

  Shockingly interesting and good 2007. This was the first year Pallieres was split into two cuvees. I last had the Racines 10 months ago and found it...acceptable. The recently opened Terrasse du Diable was much better, with a caveat. On night 1 it was herbal with mineral, menthol and a terribly off-putting metallic note, which made me wonder if I was asymptomatic covid-positive. On night 2 this came across with green herbs, raspberry and a pleasant stony finish. There is a hint of warmer dark fruit, but it's more an afterthought. Easily the finest Pallieres of any vintage that I have had, and the best 2007 southern Rhone I have drunk in the last 8-10 years. Excellent.
