Opera Wine 2017 - 100 Great Producers (Verona, Italy): Medium>Medium+ body, with mature aromas and flavors - beesawax, white floral, ripe white fruits, and even a touch of citrus aroma. A good mineral base, but it's rather recessed beneath the layers of ripe fruits. Smells sweet, but it's actually dry. I have to believe this has already peaked, but this confirms the strength of this vintage for this region. Nice. Drink now.
deep gold with tertiary aromas of honey and nuts but ripe fruit and minerality keeping it so fresh. On a plateau of maturity now - I suspect it will hold here for a few more years before gracefully declining.

From magnum. Cork was fully soaked but came out in one piece. The color was very dark old gold. The nose displayed a lovely combination of tertiary aromas like raw almonds, honey and truffles alongside ripe apricot and this wine's tell-tale minerality. Full-bodied with dense fruit, balancing acidity and a long aftertaste. Fully mature now, no reason to age further.

Lovely gold color. Less aromatic than I remember. Almonds, white fruits, anise. Well preserved acidity. Probably past its peak bur aging gracefully

Best bottle yet - real depth and complexity developing with a long finish. Lovely
