  Friday Group Brown Bag Tasting (EBCC): Double blind. Notes of black fruit and candied blueberry, with herbs, clay and earth underneath. Nice complexity here. Full-bodied, with flavors of blue and black fruit. Excellent, and drinking well, though has plenty of life ahead. 91-92 pts. (J&J)

  Double decanted three hours before service. Very dark red. Great acidity and a good tannic structure for a wine with 17 years on it. Black fruit, some herbaceous notes, a bit of smoke. This has probably developed to its best state, but it has many years of good drinking in front of it.

  Black fruits and tobacco forward, good balance and length but lack complexity, this wine had most probably passed its peak, still enjoyable though, but don't really justify the price.
