  Color shows relative evolution
  The nose has notes of figs, plums, wilted flowers, black fruits, spices, leather, larded notes.
  The mouth is suave, powerful, the tannins are patinated, it is long
  It's extremely good in an evolved register. Its peak for me is behind it.

  Fine sediment of medium volume.
  Deep bright red.
  Briary Shiraz nose. Good complexity.
  First impression before food was a blast of acid. The black fruits were marginalised by this.
  Put with a steak with a rich cream sauce with shataki mushrooms, things began to work. Fruit is blackberry to black currant, supported by fine oak.
  A much better bottle than my last one. On the basis of this bottle, I would leave it perhaps another decade.

  CV. Wonderfully mature Hermitage. Fleshy, still dark fruits, tannins on retreat, intense on the palate, long finish.
  +14 days DnP: slightly oxidized.
