  Last bottle, maybe a year too old, showing that nice mature Rhone texture and nose of damp forest floor. The fruit was not as prominant as I remember, and the wineyness is showing through. I seem to enjoy these wines just before the fruit gives away. Still, excellent with the osso bucco.
