Best Guadalupe in some time. Light red and clear (unlike previous bottles and vintages which had been cloudy). Cork showed slight seepage which had me worried, but no discernable damage. Dark fruits, pepper and minerals on the palate; silky-smooth texture; medium-weight yet elegant with a long finish.

Medium red color. Nose of black fruits. Tastes of blackberries, black currants, plums and licorice. Nice pleasing aftertaste. Drinking well. Nice complement to grilled chicken

Found another bottle (makes me wonder what else is lurking unknown in the cellar). Uncorked minutes before the meal. Lighter ruby. Nose of boysenberry, cinnamon, fennel. After 90 minutes or so, deepening blueberry and blackberry flavors with some plum and licorice notes also. Tannins softened but still providing ample strucutre. Beginning to fall off a little, but still a terrific drink. A great pairing with grilled salmon.

Last bottle, paired with grilled salmon. Dark ruby hue. Nose of spices and blueberry infusion. Medium weight, with plenty of red berries and refreshing acidity, plus a late kick of extracted blueberry on the finish. Tannins fine-grained and submerged beneath the fruit. Truly a nice drink.

minor bricking, but holding up surprisingly well, dusty, earthy umami notes,
with forest floor elements.......after 1 hour decant became even better
