  decanted 60 minutes ruby red; big nose of lavender, roses, cedar , like being in a cigar box ; rich flavors of red cherries, red currants, dates, and black plums very full bodied no rough edges, great with game sausage/roasted potatoes ; good grip for it's age, major impression of smoothness and finese; long finish, classic aged Rioja.
