  Very intriguing nose, with heavy oak presence - more reminiscent of Bordeaux than new world Pinot. On the palate, tasted pretty dried out, with oak flavors and oak tannin dominating. Still a bit of fruit, but definitely overshadowed by the oak. However, the more air this got, the more prominent the oak became and the more the fruit receded. By the next night, this was undrinkable. Overall, was pretty decent on the pop 'n pour, so if you have any of these left, drink 'em up quickly!

  Slightly cloudy, brickish garnet. Strawberry, cedar, oregano, and earth on the nose. Medium to full bodied, raspberries, pomegranates, cherry cola, sweet tannins, good acid, and a long, fruity finish. Delicious, and aging extremely gracefully.
