  • Robe ambrée.Senteurs très prononcées d'abricot au nez cela remplit les narines sans effort tellement cela dégage.En bouche c'est un flot de saveurs équivalent avec un ôté arrondi qui témoigne de la maturité complète de cette bouteille.Belle longueur.

  • Cork in dangerous condition. Or maybe not, the wine was preserved really well. Anyway, I had to pull it out of the bottle carefully, it was damp, fully soaked, yet it did not break.

As for the register (I am not into that), let' s say that it was something like acacia honey, lemon curd, some pear. Regardless, amazing acidity, it kept it so lively and refreshing. Long enough, good lasting after taste. Would have love more complexity, but it may be my bad, could have let it breathe longer.

If you happen to have any of this, and you see the cork looks OK, and the shoulder is still pretty high (mine was), then this is a keeper. You may want to know what it tastes like in 10, 15, 20, 30 years from now. Else... well, it is very enjoyable as it is right now.

  • Afternoon Drinks: A delicious wine, this was very enjoyable. It had a lovely Vouvray nose, with warm, malty aromas of honey and marzipan, caramel and brown butter, with some lanolin and perfumed floral notes drifting alongside seashell and mineral tones. The palate carried on with the same honeyed character, showing slightly candied flavours of lemon peel and ripe apples drizzled with some caramel notes and a nice glow of nectar on the midpalate. There was a touch of minerally seashell and then little twists of citrus and spice at the finish – it was just a little short right at the end I thought. Otherwise, this was very nice. There was a nicely fresh, open feel about it that I liked, with just the right amount of off-dry sweetness balanced by fresh acidity that lent the wine a nice sense of poise. Drinking beautifully and quite delicious now, this was a very nice wine.

  • Aromas of poached pears and apple with some yellow stonefruit, baking spices and minerality. Med-full bodied with rich and ripe fruit, but balanced by wonderful acidity. Concentrated yet still elegant with a very long finish. Quite young still and will undoubtedly gain complexity with age as it gained complexity over the night.
