  • Pale lemon with floaters. Very powerful and pungent developed bouquet. Oysters, marine and earth notes with just a hint of grassiness. Unusual and exciting. Broad palate entry repeating the powerful non-fruit elements of the bouquet. Quite a rich mid palate for Sancerre, with just a touch of steeliness towards the back end. Definitely dry and mineral rather than fruity. Would be an excellent accompaniment to the finest oysters. Ready now but should hold.

  • Superb Sancerre, as always with Francois Cotat.
In the bottle, it looks like there were lees floating around. Beautiful nose with clay and warm stone along different tones of lemon and some grass/plant touch.
Great acidity, med body, again a striking minerality on the palate. Multi-dimensional, a pleasure to drink with a long finish.
