Either I had better luck with this bottle or it benefited from a little aging. This one just tasted like straightforward red jammy fruit with a touch of oak. Still nothing to get excited about.

As someone who likes syrah, this was the most disappointing out of the 6 in the Coastal line I've tried. There's a prominent funkiness (some weird cigar?), and that's about all I can remember from a month or two back. The Coastal Cabernet is a much better bet.

This was drinkable but somewhat dense/heavy feeling without having the flavor that it should have had. About what I would expect at this price.

Cherry lozenge flavor. Drinkable, I suppose, but not even worth the $4 cost.
