  Big wine. Lots of things going on with it. Fruity, festive nose. Almost a grassy scent, but like the other person to review this wine said, it's got a bit of mint to it. The taste is acidic, tannic, and has that alcohol burn, but you still get the dark cherry and slight spice to it. Finish is medium length. Doesn't pair well with tomato sauce.

  Nice drinker. Nose of graphite and tobacco with a hint of mint. Mouthfeel was well balanced, sour cherry strong on mid-back palate. Not an overly complex wine, it went well with our lamb tips and afterwards just as a sipper.
