Nose of black licorice, black cherry, and fresh herbs. Palate presents milk chocolate, plum, dried thyme, fresh sage, and candied cherries. Resolved tannins with a bit of graininess on the finish along with slightly sour black cherry, light earth, and oak with a burnt edge. Still didn't come off as particularly Cabernet-like. I recommend drinking now.

Nose of chocolate, dark cherries, black currant, vanilla oak, eucalyptus, and a hint of lemon zest. Black cherry palate with heavy layers of Madagascar vanilla along with dark chocolate and macadamia nuts. Soft, gentle tannins with cedar and a very sweet raspberry fruit, adding coconut and hints of cola. Nice wine, though not particularly Cabernet like. Still has plenty of life to it. We forgot to give a score.
