  • As with other Napa cabs of the era, like B.V., Beringer, Heitz, Silver Oak...as they get to be this age they all become very similar, with some sherry in the nose along with plums and a mustiness and coarse texture. Still, very enjoyable after all these years, still has plenty of aroma and flavor. A real treat to taste something this old!

  • Pretty wine, but very light in color and in fruit. The red berries are sweet, and there is freshness, but it's quite light and short.

  • A full on religious experience. A gentleman at a neighboring table brought this to a recent charity event and we shared/traded samples of various bottles we had brought.

I think that this is one of the best wines I have ever tasted.

If California were to return to making wines like this the world would find permanent peace, I just know it.

Due to the setting, it was difficult to make notes, but this wine was stunningly superb. Drinking amazingly well, smooth tannins, low alcohol, and lush fruit.

This was an eye opening experience for me.
