ABV: Not on label? Wow ... this wine is amazing! The nose displays ripe red fruits (think cherries, raspberries, and plums) that's surrounded by herbs and spice. These characteristics are beautifully balanced and harmonized, unlike many of the modern wines. The tannins are silky smooth on the palate, leaving you with a mouthful of juicy red fruits, lifted by well-integrated acidity. The juicy red fruits continues on to the lengthy finish, almost as if you just had a sip of red fruit punch. This wine is in its prime drinking window so just pop and pour!

Had two bottles of this, both in perfect condition but, sadly, the first one was corked. Last bottle was not, though.
Beautiful deep ruby color with hardly any bricking and nice mature cab nose. Initially a bit thin and sharp on the palate but opened up nicely with an hour of breathing. Light to medium body - claret like - but definitely a Napa Valley wine. Perfect with grilled lamb chops.

Remarkably fresh and young looking. A little bricking around the edges upon closer inspection. Nose is a little sour at first but begins to give off high notes of fruit with time in the glass. Initial acidic bite. Does not seem to give up much else at first; I'm afraid this wine is just going to fall apart but acidity is actually attached to semi-juicy fruit that takes some coaxing by serious chewing to come out. Tannins still slightly grippy. Lengthy but flat finish. Not great but I am pleasantly surprised. Needs food, preferably something beefy. Still has a nice nose on the second night with some very short lived integrated fruit flavors and acidity. Finish has completely flattened out. More sediment so decant remaining two bottles.
