Pale in the glass. Inviting nose of citrus and melon. Crisp notes of green apple and limy citrus, with typical Grüner mineral and acidity on the finish. Balance is good, finish is long.
A very nice single-vineyard Grüner for less than the cost of some generically-California Chardonnays. Elegant wine for with food -- pork (in just about any form) or turkey.

First foray into the world of gruner veltliner. Very pale straw color. Honeysuckle on the nose with a hint of peach and pear. Initially pretty sweet with the honeysuckle coming through, then a bit of fizz kicks in and the wine finishes with green apple. Decent pairing with grilled scallop, red pepper and peach in an asian sauce.

Good relatively interesting wine for the price. Pear and melon, good acid, decent balance.
